The Role Play Toolkit provides Trainers and Facilitators with practical role play scenarios for interpersonal and managerial skills training. The role plays encourage participants to practice ‘real life’ business situations and receive detailed feedback from their colleagues.The toolkit is supplied electronically to allow the role play templates to be used as they are presented or, using the Microsoft Word version, amended to further suit the behavioural situations within your organisation. What does the toolkit cover

 

  • The 106-page Role Play Toolkit consists of 35 separate role plays over 8 topic areas.
  • Each role play consists of a ‘main role player’ brief (e.g. Coach; Appraiser; Disciplining Manager) and ‘opposite part’ brief (e.g. Coachee; Appraisee).
  • 1 or 2-page Observer’s Checklists are provided for each topic area, so that delegates/ Trainers observing the role plays have the framework to give detailed feedback to colleagues on strengths and development areas.
  • Role plays are built around a range of departments including Finance, Despatch, Customer Services, Warehouse, Sales, Telesales, Administration, Marketing, I.T. and Reception. The role plays assist in developing both management and non-management staff.
  • The toolkit also features easy-to-set-up team building exercises, with Observer recording/ analysis templates.

Format

 

The toolkit is supplied in a choice of 2 formats:

1. PDF version. The scenarios can be used ‘straight out of the box’. Multiple photocopying rights no matter how many courses you are running within your organisation.

2. MICROSOFT WORD version. Copyright waiver rights are included. This means that role play scenarios may be amended if required to create situations that exactly fit your organisation’s behavioural situations/ settings. The toolkit saves hours of design time but gives the flexibility to amend the settings (such as job titles and departments) and the behavioural examples provided.
