In times of downturn and recession, the manager’s role as performance coach has never been so important. Organisations have to maximise the return on investment in the employees who work for them. This course succinctly defines performance management, and explores methods to unblock performance issues in their staff. It develops the essential skills of task setting and giving feedback using easy-to-follow and apply models. The course introduces delegates to a performance coaching meeting approach - a powerful tool to maximise people potential, particularly if informal feedback with under-performers hasn’t worked.
